Cristiano Ronaldo has told former Real Madrid teammate, Toni Kroos’ he still has a few years to play football.

Ronaldo was reacting to the German’s decision to retire from football.

He however, stated that he respects his former teammate’s decision to hang up his boots.

Kroos announced his decision to retire at the end of last season after helping Real Madrid win the La Liga title and the UEFA Champions League.

And after the Euro 2024 championship, the midfield maestro packed his boots after Germany crashed out in the quarter-final.

Cristiano Ronaldo claimed that Kroos had a few years of football left in him.

Speaking with Rio Ferdinand on his UR Cristiano YouTube channel, the Al Nassr attacker said, “Kroos retirement? It’s the way he sees it, we have to respect him.

“I respect his decision. He could play a few years more, but that’s his decision.”
