Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has commented on midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne’s injury.
De Bruyne sustained a hamstring injury during Man City’s Champions League 0-0 draw with Inter Milan on Wednesday.
The Belgium international was forced off in the final five minutes of the first-half.
The 33-year-old was replaced by midfielder, Ilkay Gundogan, who had two golden opportunities to seal a victory for the Cityzens but failed to convert his chances.
However, Guardiola’s side will host Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday with doubts over de Bruyne’s involvement following his withdrawal from the Inter Milan clash.
Providing an update on De Bruyne’s injury, Guardiola said at his post-match press conference:
“I don’t know, I haven’t spoken to doctors yet.
“We will assess tonight and I will have more information tomorrow.”
