Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Jamie Redknapp has described Manchester United under Erik ten Hag as disgusting and embarrassing.
He believes manager, Erik ten Hag has only been able to take Manchester United on a regressing journey.
The pundit slammed Manchester United and their manager after watching them fall to a 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday.
United conceded within the first three minutes courtesy of Brennan Johnson’s strike.
Their captain, Bruno Fernandes was then sent off in the 42nd minute.
Then more goals from Dejan Kulusevski in the 47th and Dominic Solanke in the 77th minute capped off an excellent night for Ange Postecoglou’s side.
Redknapp criticized Ten Hag for United’s poor performances, telling Sky Sports, “I think that 616 million pounds he’s spent, Ten Hag, in two years. They’re going backwards. He’s going backwards. You can’t complain anymore.
“He’s got his back four in place. He’s got all the players at his disposal and there are no excuses.
“They are at rock bottom right now. I just don’t see where he can go from here. They’re as bad as I’ve seen a United side. It’s actually disgusting, it’s embarrassing.
“Because a club of this stature shouldn’t be producing performances like that.”
