Nigeria’s Chidimma Adetshina, has celebrated after finishing as the first runner-up at the 73rd Miss Universe competition held in Mexico City, Mexico on Saturday.
Miss Denmark, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, was crowned the 2024 Miss Universe, triumphing over 124 contestants from around the globe to win the coveted title.
Speaking in an interview shortly after her win, Chidimma expressed her excitement.
“I’m so excited. I don’t have words to describe what I’m feeling right now, but I’m so proud of myself, and I just made history,” she said.
