Tolu Arokodare was on target as KRC Genk beat Anderlecht 2-0 at the Cegeka Arena.

Arokodare put Genk in front with a header one minute before the half hour mark.

It was the forward’s 11th goal in 19 league appearances for the Smurfs this season.

The 24-year-old is one goal shy of his overall tally from the 2003/24 season.

The Nigerian also provided the assist for Konstantinos Karetsas’ second goal in the 72nd minute.

Genk now have 41 points from 19 matches.
