Video captured the moment a lecturer at the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Imo State, ass@ulted a male student in front of his colleagues.

The video shows students standing around the lecturer when a boy changes his position.

Immediately, the lecturer goes after him, slaps him, and gives him a leg kick that sends him straight to the ground, his back hitting the concrete.

Other students scream while the lecturer begins scolding the boy for not following instructions.

The boy explains that he has a headache, hence his action, but the lecturer continues to scold him while other students beg on his behalf.

“Sorry sir,” other students are heard begging the lecturer.

The video has sparked outrage and led to a discussion about Nigerian lecturers and how they treat students in the name of discipline. Nigerian home decor ideas
