#UEL top scorers after this week matches

Olympiacos striker, Ayoub El Kaabi still remain the joint-top scorer in the UEFA Europa League, UEL, following the conclusion of the quarter-final first leg fixtures on Thursday night.

Recall that Manchester United played 2-2 with Lyon, Tottenham Hotspur played 1-1 with Frankfurt, Rangers played 0-0 with Athletic Club, and Bodø/Glimt defeated Lazio 2-0.

El Kaabi, alongside Bodø/Glimt’s Kasper Høgh are currently the top scorers in the Europa League this season.

The duo both have seven goals each to their names ahead of the Europa League last-8 second leg fixtures next week.

Europa League top scorers so far:

7 goals – Ayoub El Kaabi and Kasper Høgh

6 goals – Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray), Samu (Porto) and Barnabás Varga (Ferencváros), Václav Černý (Rangers), Youssef En-Nesyri (Fenerbahçe), Malick Fofana (Lyon),

5 goals – Kenneth Taylor (Ajax), Iñaki Williams (Athletic Club) and Yunus Akgün (Galatasaray), Rasmus Højlund (Manchester United), Mikel Oyarzabal (Real Sociedad).

The Europa League quarter-final second leg fixtures will take place next Thursday.
