Two security men, Buhari Hassan and John Samson, were on Tuesday, April 15, docked in a Zuba Magistrates’ Court, Abuja, for allegedly stealing two bags of cashew nuts from an accident scene.

According to NAN, the police charged Hassan and Samson with criminal conspiracy and theft.

They, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The prosecutor, Adamu Ochone, told the court that the complainant, Isah Jaru, reported the matter at the Tuga Maje police headquarters on February 23, 2025.

Ochone said that the complainant rode his motorcycle to purchase cashew nuts, but got hit by an unknown vehicle along Giri town, Abuja, on February 22.

He said the complainant was rushed to the hospital for treatment, but on returning to the accident scene to pick up his motorcycle and the two bags of cashew nuts, he discovered they were gone.
