The Delta state police command has arrested one Ike Peter, a member of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria in Ogwashi-Uku, who allegedly shot and k!lled a 29-year-old student.Nigerian home decor ideas

The DPO Ogwashi-Uku today received a distress call that the suspect, Ike Peter, a member of a vigilante group in Nigeria, allegedly shot and k!lled the victim in his room while he was reading and preparing for exams.

The DPO swiftly mobilised to the scene, and found the victim in a pool of his blood. The deceased was taken to the hospital and was confirmed de@d by the doctor on duty. His body has been deposited at the mortuary for autopsy.

The suspect, Peter Ike, was immediately arrested, and on the instructions of the commissioner of Police, the suspect was transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for discreet investigation.

Confirming the incident to newsmen, the state police PRO, Edafe Bright, said the state Commissioner of Police, has ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Police, the State Criminal Investigation Department, to take over the case and ensure that a thorough investigation is carried out. The CP, while condoling with the family of the deceased and students of the Polytechnic, also advised them to remain calm as no stone will be left unturned, assuring them of Justice.
