A woman has gone on X to seek advice on how to handle a domestic dispute with her father.

The woman, a 21-year-old, claims she pays bills at home yet her father insists her fiancé can’t stay over in their house unless he also pays bills.

She wrote: “I’m 21 and i stay with my dad, i help pay bills and he got the nerve to tell me my fiancé can’t stay past one am before i go off would i be wrong?

“I forgot to mention ! he said this isn’t a bed and breakfast and is perfectly fine with my fiancé staying the night if he pays the same rate as the cheapest hotel in the area! so he’s just weird that’s all.”
