Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has turned down a salary offer from Al-Hilal.

This was revealed by Nigerian broadcast journalist Onyebuchi Onokala, also known as Buchi Laba.

Although Buchi Laba did not disclose the figures, he claimed it was the exact offer the Saudi Pro League side tabled to Osimhen last year.

Osimhen had agreed to it at the time, but Napoli changed their financial demands at the last minute, and the transfer fell through.

Buchi Laba wrote on X: “Excl: Victor Osimhen officially turns down Saudi club Al Hilal’s first offer. It was the same offer they made last year.

“Also, a club from Italy is keen and ready to pay Victor what he wants in wages.

“Lastly, Galatasaray too are pushing heavy for his signature. RC not a problem.”

It has emerged that Al-Hilal are expecting an answer from Osimhen by Friday.

They are willing to activate his €70m release clause and secure him in time for the Club World Cup.
