A 21-year-old lady identified as Christiana Olatunji, was discovered d3ad inside a gutter in Lokoja, Kogi State.
It was learned that the deceased woman, who was a student at one of Lokoja’s higher education institutions, was from Fehinti-Kabba in the state’s Kabba Bunu Local Government Area.
Witnesses claim that early last week, the woman was last spotted with one of her friends at a well-known lounge in Lokoja.
Following a fruitless search by her friends and security personnel, her lifeless body was reportedly found inside a gutter next to the road on Thursday.
It was reported that one of her friends had been taken into custody and was assisting the police in their investigation to determine what caused her death.
The deceased was reportedly a well-known social media content creator.
The state police command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) , SP William Aya, who confirmed the incident said arrest has been made while investigation is in progress to uncover the reason behind her d3ath.
He said the culprits would be charged to court.
