Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, is currently trending on social media after he made a gaffe while speaking about former President Buhari’s funeral.

This happened during plenary today July 23. The red chamber organized a special session to celebrate the life and times of the former Nigerian leader who died in a UK hospital on Sunday, July 13.

While speaking during the session, Akpabio mistakenly mentioned ‘’Tinubu’s burial’ instead of saying ‘’Buhari’s burial’.

In his words;

‘’The whole country is very proud of what this administration has done in the way and manner President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was honored and was buried”

He was immediately alerted and he corrected himself.

‘’President Buhari rather….sorry”
