Paul Merson, Arsenal legend, wants Chelsea to sign Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze this summer transfer window.
According to Merson, the Blues need more than Cole Palmer in their squad because the attack of Enzo Maresca’s side is predictable.
Eze has been linked with a move away from Crystal Palace this summer.
The England international has been linked with Premier League clubs Arsenal and Tottenham, respectively.
“I can’t believe Chelsea are not going for Eberechi Eze,” Merson said in his Sky Sports column.
“They buy winger after winger, but they need more than Palmer.
“If you get Eze, you then have two players [Eze and Palmer] who can break teams down.
“They’re predictable for me. They play with two quick wingers with Palmer trying to feed them.”
