Fulham are targeting a move for Basel winger Philip Otele, DAILY POST reports.

According to GMS, Fulham had their scouts in attendance during Basel’s UEFA Champions League playoff tie against Danish club, Copenhagen on Tuesday.

The Premier League club are now considering whether to place a formal offer.

Marco Silva’s side, however, face competition from Bundesliga side, Eintracht Frankfurt, who also have Otele on their radar.

The Nigerian is valued around €15m by Basel.

The 26-year-old first arrived Basel from United Arab Emirates side Al-Wahda on loan in January 2025.

Otele later joined Basel on a permanent transfer after scoring nine times in 18 league appearances.
