The wife of music star, Davido, who made her first return on Instagram last month, after 3 years, has marked an impressive milestone on the photo-sharing platform.
Kemi Filani reported that the mother of three took a break from social media after losing her son, Ifeanyi, in 2022. Making a return to the photo-sharing app, last month, after her white wedding, Chioma shared a photo of the bracelet she wore on her wedding day, which had the face of her late son on it.
The singer’s wife said Ifeanyi, whom she called her best friend, walked her into forever. The mother of three said her late son is always on her mind every day, and he will be loved in he heart always and forever.
Kemi Filani checked her Instagram page and noticed that the post had hit 1 million likes, which is a big feat for a celebrity wife.
Her famous husband currently holds the record for the first African celebrity to reach over one million likes on Instagram for his comeback post in 2019.
In her second post following her return, Chioma shared a photo of her and her husband from their wedding cover with Vogue, and gushed over him, calling him her husband.
On Sunday, August 10th, the singer and his wife, held their white wedding ceremony in Miami. The likes of Dangote, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, Obi Cubana and his wife, Dbanj and his wife, Uche Jombo, Zlatan and wife, and more were in attendance.
During their wedding vows, Chioma described Davido as her love, best friend, and the calm in her storm. She promised to walk with him forever and hold his hand.
Davido described Chioma as his love, peace, and hope and said she walked into his life quietly and became the loudest. He noted how she saw the real him and still chose him. The singer added that Chioma is his best friend, healer, and calm in the storm and stated that God brought her into his life to show her unconditional love.
During an interview with Noire TV Network at her white wedding bridal shower, Chioma said that, contrary to reports, Davido cares about dreams and is always asking what she wants to do. She disclosed that she and Davido have plans for the next few months.
