The police in Delta state have arrested a 21-year-old girl identified as Bina residing in Jakpa road for allegedly st@bbing her 34-year-old lover to de@th.
Bina and the deceased have been together since she was 17 and have two children together, a three year old and a one-year-old.
While being paraded before newsmen, Bina who hails from Bayelsa state, said they had a disagreement after the deceased called off their relationship. She said their disagreement degenerated into a fight and that she went into their kitchen to take the knife which she used to st@b him.
She claimed the hospital her deceased lover was rushed to refused attending to him leading to his death.
She said she regrets her actions.
Reacting to the incident, Edafe wrote
”I just interviewed a 21 year old girl who has been cohabiting with a 34 yr old guy for the past four years, she has two children for him. If she’s 21yrs now, which means she started living with this guy since she was 17yrs. Now they had a fight with him, stabbed the guy in the heart and killed him. Who do you blame? The girl, the society or her parent who couldn’t raise her and gave her out at 17 without a bride price? Her english is so fluent, and she stopped schooling at SS2.”
