Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, is currently celebrating as his hit track Shake Body continues to earn global attention.
The song was recently used in a new Adidas promotional video featuring teenage football star Lamine Yamal.
On Tuesday, September 2, Skales shared the clip via his X (formerly Twitter) page with the caption:
“World best X @adidasfootball X Martina’s Son 🐊💛👌💪”
This comes after the singer had earlier rejoiced online when a viral video captured Barcelona’s young talent, Lamine Yamal, making a grand entrance onto the pitch while Shake Body played in the background.
The video, also uploaded on his Instagram page, showed Yamal emerging from a stadium tunnel surrounded by vibrant lights, smoke effects, and loud cheers from thousands of fans.
Reacting to the recognition, Skales expressed gratitude to God for the opportunities and breakthroughs he has witnessed in 2025.
He wrote on X:
“Lord I just wana say thank you for 2025… I love you Jesus. There is no one like you … I will continually speak boldly of your grace and mercy upon my life …”
In a follow-up post, the singer described how much Yamal’s gesture meant to him, acknowledging the young star as someone who has once again supported him in a special way.
Dropping a hint about a career update, he teased fans with news of an upcoming announcement without giving away details.
“Abeg make I hail Lamine Yamal my helper him don do another one for me o … big announcement soon lol.”
For Skales, the blend of Yamal’s stadium moment with the sound of Shake Body marks a proud crossover of football and Nigerian music on the global stage.
