The late Raji Samad Adetola, popularly known as Sanku, has remained a topic of discussion online even after his passing, as his mother addressed circulating rumours about him.
On Monday, September 1, GistLover reported that the skit maker and content creator tragically died in a car accident, a development that triggered widespread reactions across social media.
In the wake of his death, speculations surfaced alleging that Sanku was involved in ritual practices to boost his fame.
However, in a viral video, his grieving mother strongly refuted the claims, insisting her son never engaged in such acts. She revealed that Sanku consistently sought her prayers, rather than relying on any spiritual items.
“You can’t give him any spiritual item that he will ever use. He always says it’s my prayers that are working for him. He always says I should keep on praying. My son didn’t do anything spiritual. He knows no herbalists whatsoever. I’ve been hearing what everyone has been saying that he might’ve done something spiritual. My son didn’t go anywhere or do any form of rituals,” she said, speaking in the Yoruba language.
