Nigeria Vs South Africa: Osimhen Will Not Play, He’s In Pain – Galatasaray Manager, Buruk

Galatasaray manager, Okan Buruk has suggested that striker, Victor Osimhen will not play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria when they face South Africa in a World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.

According to Buruk, Osimhen is in pain after sustaining an ankle injury in Nigeria’s 1-0 victory against Rwanda on Saturday.

He, however, lamented that the latest injury set-back for Osimhen is a shame for the Turkish champions.

“If possible, we want to bring him [Osimhen] here as soon as possible and have him checked,” Buruk said on Now Spor as quoted by habersarikirmizi.

“It will be clearer tomorrow, he is in pain. He will not be able to play in the match in two days [against South Africa].

“We will see how he is. It was a shame for us,” he stated.

Osimhen was replaced by Panathinaikos’ new signing, Cyriel Dessers in the first half against
