Yoruba Nollywood actress Olaide Oyedeji has opened up about being a single mother.
In an interview, she revealed that being a single mother is by force and not by choice, as she noted how she wouldn’t have believed if anyone told her she would have two baby daddies.
Olaide noted how some women are single mothers by choice as they baby trap the men, especially when they are celebrities. The Yoruba actress noted how there are many ways for one to express their love for another without getting pregnant.
“I am a single mother by force and not by choice. I want to give birth to a celebrity who is a single mother by choice. Do not because for any reason, please a guy and you say you want to use a child to. There are many ways you can love someone without giving birth to them. If you think you’re that special, you’re not going to tie your destiny to giving birth to a celebrity.
If anyone had told me that I would have two baby daddies, I would have denied it”.
Similarly, Kemity shared the story behind why she has two kids from different men, as she noted how people always mock her because of it. The busty actress said the father of her first child was the one who deflowered her, but he was killed in a hotel after he returned from Malaysia. She stated that she became a widow following his death.
In 2023, Olaide had blown hot, over the heavy criticisms she received for leaving her marriage. She warned critics to refrain from trolling her, as she rhetorically questioned when marriage became a do-or-die affair in Nigeria. The movie star emphasized how she wouldn’t have left her marriage if everything was rosy and it was good.
On Father’s Day, Olaide had shaded her ex, as she gave a shout-out to all deadbeat fathers while reducing them to being sperm donors for not shouldering their responsibilities.
In an interview last year, her colleague, Ayo Olaiya had addressed his relationship with her. He noted how people were blaming him for the actress’s failed marriage. The married actor made it known that he doesn’t have anything intimate going on with Laide.
