South Africa Can’t Stop Super Eagles World Cup Ambition – Nwabali

Stanley Nwabali is optimistic the Super Eagles will beat their hosts South Africa in Tuesday night’s clash in Blomfeinteim.

Nigeria must get three points from the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday eight encounter to reduce Bafana Bafana’s lead in Group C.

South Africa top the standings in the group with 16 points from seven games.

The Super Eagles are further back in third position with 10 points.

The hosts will enjoy massive support from their fans, and will make the atmosphere uncomfortable for Nigeria.

Nwabali is, however, upbeat they will get the job done, and return home with a win.

I feel like we have a very strong squad to match any country. I don’t see them beating us. I know we respect them, but they are not favourites.

“They are doing well, even topping the group. I believe it is going to be a tough game tomorrow but we will come out stronger.”
