Atalanta head coach, Ivan Juric has said Ademola Lookman will not feature in the side’s Serie A clash with Leece on Sunday (today), NEWSUNPLUG reports.
Lookman is yet to make an appearance for Atalanta this season following a transfer standoff.
The 27-year-old, however, featured for Nigeria in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda, and South Africa in the past week.
There were expectations he would be integrated back into the Atalanta squad for the game with Leece.
Juric has, however, declared that the winger will not be in his squad for the encounter.
“Ademola will not be ready for tomorrow. It’s a truly unpleasant and difficult situation,” Juric was quoted by TMW.
