Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, is fighting to retain the confidence of his squad, following their 3-0 defeat at Manchester City last Sunday.
The loss at the Etihad has piled more pressure on the 40-year-old.
According to the UK Mirror, some of United’s senior players have been left frustrated and confused by Amorim’s refusal to change his tactics and system.
Amorim continues to insist on a rigid 3-4-3 formation and his refusal to adapt to any other set-up is a concern among the squad.
As the former Sporting boss continues to fight for his job, some United players feel he is undermining them by continuously asking them to fit into a system they are not equipped to play.
United have won just one game this season, needing a Bruno Fernandes penalty to beat Burnley at Old Trafford.
