Media personality Toke Makinwa has revealed how motherhood transformed her personality.
Newsunplug reported in August that the former OAP had welcomed her first child, a baby girl, named Yakira Eliana at 40.
On her Instagram story, Toke noted how, throughout this year, she was indoors because of her pregnancy, which is unlike her. The new mom noted how she went from being a baddie who is always outside to being indoors.
Toke further revealed that she got pregnant last year, a month after she turned 40 in November.
“I legit went from ITALAWA to inside all year
I got pregnant a month after I turned 40″.
Just a day back, Toke celebrated her daughter, who had turned one month old. She described the past month as unbelievable, appreciated her mini-me for choosing her, and promised to do her best.
A few days back, the media personality and entrepreneur bragged that her daughter is fine and not because she gave birth to her. She said she looked at her mini-me, and she is adorable.
In a note to her newborn, Toke noted how her daughter had changed her status and healed the broken heart she had carried since she was 8. Toke said she was already drowning in her big ol’ eyes and learning so much of her.
On her podcast, the former OAP broke down in tears as she reflected on her trials, revealing that she prayed to God that she wanted to turn 40 being a mum. She said that God answered her prayers as she got pregnant the next month after her 40th birthday.
After gracing the cover of Marie Claire magazine, Toke revealed that she had spent months afraid of what could go wrong, wanted to run away, and didn’t want to share her joy with the world, and then she remembered that the gift of the Lord makes so much riches without adding sorrow.
