Manchester City star, Jack Grealish, has singled out two Barcelona players for praise following the Blaugrana’s UEFA Champions League 2-1 win against Newcastle United on Thursday.

Recall that Barcelona came to England to beat Newcastle United in front of their home supporters on Thursday night.

Marcus Rashford, who is currently on loan at Barcelona from Manchester United, scored the two goals for the LaLiga giants.

Anthony Gordon did score a late goal consolation goal for Eddie Howe’s side at St James’ Park.

However, Grealish, who was watching the match at St James’ Park, admired the performances of Barcelona midfielders Pedri and Frenkie de Jong.

The England international posted a picture of the game on his Instagram story along with the caption: “Pedri and De Jong are a joy to watch.”

NEWSUNPLUG reports that Pedri and De Jong controlled Barcelona’s midfield against Newcastle throughout the duration of the encounter.
