Atalanta are planning to offer Ademola Lookman an improved deal, NEWSUNPLUG reports.

Lookman resumed training with La Dea on Thursday following his transfer standoff with the club this summer.

The Nigeria international pushed to join Inter Milan, and went on AWOL after the Nerrazzuri had their offers rejected by Atalanta.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Atalanta now want the player to sign a new contract with an improved salary.

Lookman has two years left on his contract with the Bergamo club.

He could push to leave Atalanta when the transfer window reopens in January.
