Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca, has revealed two things his team need following their 2-1 defeat to Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday.
Maresca watched as Man United defeated the Blues at Old Trafford, as both Robert Sanchez and Casemiro got red cards.
Speaking after the game, Maresca said Chelsea needs to reflect on not starting well against the opponent and also raise their standards.
“We have played in the Premier League long enough now, so we just have to learn from this and move forward,” Maresca told Sky Sports.
“Whether it is 10 men each, it is always difficult from 2-0 down. We need to reflect on not starting well, and we need to raise our standards as a collective.”
Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, and Trevor Chalobah scored all the goals during the encounter.
Chelsea will now face Lincoln City in the EFL Cup in their next game in mid-week.
