Former Super Eagles captain, Sunday Oliseh, has expressed his surprise at Arsenal’s failure to beat Manchester City in a Premier League clash on Sunday.

The two teams played out a 1-1 draw at the Emirates.

City opened the scoring through Erling Haaland in the ninth minute.

For most of the game, Pep Guardiola’s men kept it compact in a 5-4-1 shape, frustrating the Gunners’ attacking play.

But Gabriel Martinelli was able to find a late equalizer in the 93rd minute.

Despite the dramatic equaliser, Oliseh believes Arsenal should have taken maximum points.

“I am shocked Arsenal did not beat Man City today!

“This is, I believe, one of the weakest performances put up by Man. City,” Oliseh wrote on X.
