Mexican TV presenter Debora Estrella has di3d aged 43 in a plane crash.

Mexican channel Multimedia, who Debora worked for, confirmed the tragic news in a social media post yesterday, September 21.

“At MULTIMEDIA we are shocked and deeply sorry for the loss of our colleague. Debora Estrella, 43 years old, was running the Morning Telediario in Monterrey, since the year 2018; as well as taking over spaces in the news of Milenio Television and the running of the Mexico City Telediario, through Channel 6 on the weekends,” they wrote.

“Debora di3d this Saturday, September 20 in a plane crash registered in the municipality of Garcia, Nuevo León. We express our deepest condolences to their families and loved ones. Rest in peace, mate.”

Debora had been learning to fly when her plane crashed. Both Debora and her instructor Bryan Ballesteros di3d when their small aircraft plummeted to the ground.

The tragedy unfolded near an industrial estate in Garcia shortly after she had announced online that she was learning to fly.

The Mexican TV personality had shared a photograph of the two-seater Cessna she was training in and posted: “Guess what”, before her lesson.

Her final workplace photograph was uploaded shortly before her tragic de@th, with the broadcaster captioning: “Buenos dias” as she struck a pose in a black outfit in the studio with a radiant smile across her face.
