Mikel Arteta has a lot to worry about his first-team player, Noni Madueke, who suffered an injury in the Premier League game against Manchester City.

The club’s supporters welcomed the return of Bukayo Saka and William Saliba, who had recovered from injury against the former Premier League Champions. The club’s captain, Martin Odegaard, remains sidelined after his latest shoulder issue, and summer signing Piero Hincapie was also not available for selection against the Cityzens.

There were concerns by Arsenal supporters when Madueke was substituted at the start of the second half. The winger is facing two weeks out with the knee injury he suffered against Manchester City.

Mikel Arteta revealed that Madueke suffered an injury and was unable to continue after the break. He was seen holding his right knee towards the end of the first half of the game at the Emirates Stadium and was replaced at the break by Bukayo Saka

Scans on Monday showed Madueke has avoided an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury but the Englishman will likely miss the next set of Arsenal’s fixtures.

How many games will Noni Madueke miss for Arsenal?

He is expected to be out for at least two months meaning he will miss a large chunk of the games for the Gunners.

He joins the list of attackers that will be out of action as Kai Havertz is yet to return after surgery on a knee issue in late August, while Gabriel Jesus tore the ACL in his left knee in January, leaving summer signing Victor Gyokeres as the side’s only recognised striker.
