Nigerian singer and music executive Tobi Mohammed, widely recognized as Alhaji Popping, recently shared a harrowing experience that almost cost him his life.
During an appearance on the Adesope Live show, he detailed how he and his associate, Rayce, survived a terrorist ambush in Bauchi State back in 2017.
He revealed that their vehicle was fired upon ten times by the attackers, but fortunately, they managed to escape unharmed.
Speaking in a recent episode of the Adesope Live show, Alhaji Popping said, “Me and Rayce were shot at 10 times in Bauchi in a car in 2017 by guys wearing military uniforms. If my mom watches this, she’s going to call me and pray for me because I didn’t tell her about the incident.
“We were shot at. Bullets entered the steering, wheel, AC, the boot, but not one touched me. The experience is one of the things that have made me very close to God. Because I realised that everything that has happened to me was an expression of grace.”
