Nigeria eligible youngster, Mishel Nduka has completed his transfer to Arsenal.
The midfielder left Charlton Athletic after eight years at the club to join the Premier League giants.
He signed a schoolboy deal with the Gunners having been on their radar and also wanted by other clubs such as Brighton and Wolves.
The highly rated star, however, decided to join the north London giants.
Arsenal Academy manager, Per Mertesacker and Nduka’s parents witnessed the signing ceremony.
He will move straight to the Gunners’ U16 side.
The teenage midfielder took to social media to announce the milestone in his football career.
In an Instagram post, Nduka described Arsenal as a ‘big club’ while paying tribute to his family for their support.
“Proud to sign for such a big club like @arsenal,” Nduka posted.
“I would like to thank my family who have supported me along the way. All praise to God, now it’s time to get to work!”
So many players with Nigerian names have come out of the Arsenal academy but most of them ended up representing their country of birth at international level.
The senior team currently parade players of Nigerian descent such as Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke.
