Bayern Munich striker, Harry Kane has surpassed a joint record previously held by Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland after scoring a brace in his side’s Bundesliga 4-0 win against Werder Bremen on Friday night.
Kane broke the record of Ronaldo and Haaland, who both needed 105 games to reach 100 goals for their new clubs.
The England international, however, did it in 104 games for Bayern in all competitions on Friday.
The 32-year-old hit his milestone goal for Bayern against Werder Bremen, finishing past Karl Hein in the 65th minute following good work from team-mate Luis Diaz.
That is the quickest a player has hit the landmark for a team in Europe’s top five leagues on record.
Recall that Ronaldo scored his 100th Real Madrid goal in August 2011, while Haaland scored his 100th goal for Manchester City in September 2024; each did so in 105 matches.
Kane joined the Bavarians in 2023 after leaving Tottenham Hotspur.
