Gospel music icon and evangelist Bola Are was among the notable personalities who graced the coronation of Oba Rashidi Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Serving as the featured artiste for the coronation’s grand praise and worship concert, Bola Are led an energetic session dedicated to celebrating the new monarch, His Imperial Majesty Oba (Sen.) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja.
The historic ceremony also drew high-profile dignitaries, including President Bola Tinubu and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.
A standout moment came when Bola Are offered fervent prayers for the king and his household. She anointed the Olubadan’s throne, using a ceremonial horn to pour consecrated oil as a blessing.
