Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has explained why Brentford defeated his team 3-1 in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Goals from Igor Thiago (2) and Mathias Jensen gave Brentford the victory over Man United.
Benjamin Sesko did score for the Red Devils but Bruno Fernandes missed a penalty kick.
Speaking at his post-match interview, Amorim insisted that his team failed to control the game against the hosts.
According to him, his players were confused against Brentford.
“The feeling is always the same. Of course we want to win. I think we didn’t control the game,” Amorim told TNT Sports.
“We played the game of Brentford. Really confused. Second balls, first balls, set pieces. And all the crucial moments they were against us.
“Tough to lose again but we need to think about the next one.”
