Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has been left emotional over a sweet gesture from her Ghanaian colleague, Majid Michel.

Taking to her Instagram page, Mercy shared a screenshot of the message Majid sent to her, expressing pride in her movie, Thinline.

“Great, great, great film!! “, he wrote to her.

Reacting to it, Aigbe expressed how humbled she is with his review. She said it got her in her feelings as she expressed gratitude to her Maker for the amazing reception.

Mercy appreciated Majid for his kind words, for watching, believing and celebrating her movie with her. She stated that his support meant the world to her.

“I’m truly humbled!!!

I bless God for the amazing reception THINLINE is getting

Gratitude”.

In March, Aigbe shared one of her greatest joys as a filmmaker, which is knowing that her movie resonates with so many people and evokes emotions. She expressed how incredible it was to see how her 2023 film touched hearts and continues to inspire many more.

Recall that Mercy Aigbe made her first delve into Cinema production with Ada Omo Daddy which was well received by Nigerians. The movie star couldn’t keep calm when her movie grossed one hundred and eighty point seven million and became the 3rd highest grossing movie. This was a huge milestone, especially with competition from Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham.

Following the success of her first Cinema movie, the movie producer is currently working on her second Cinema movie, Thin Line which she has been teasing on her Instagram page.

Like Ada Omo Daddy, Thinline was also a success at the Cinema as it grossed over N100 million at the box office. Mercy celebrated the achievement by acknowledging her fans’ unwavering support and commitment to ensure her blockbuster thrived and stood tall.
