Former England international, Rio Ferdinand, has said that this is the best time Arsenal fans brag about and be proud of their team.

According to the former Manchester United defender, Arsenal will have no excuses not to win the Premier League this season.

Arsenal brought in a good number of quality players in the summer transfer window- Eberechi Eze, Zubimendi and Viktor Gyokeres.

Ferdinand said they have no excuse not to win it now.

“Arsenal have got probably the best depth in the league right now, all positions have really good cover. When all the squad’s fit, I think it’s an intimidating squad that you’re coming up against now,” Ferdinand told Rio Presents podcast.

“They’ve got robust players, players that can hurt you from different areas. It’s a good time to be an Arsenal fan.

“They’ve got to finish it off this time, they can’t go this season with arguably the best squad in the league and still not get the job done.”

Arsenal are currently topping the Premier League table going into the October FIFA international break.

The Gunners beat West Ham 2-0 on Saturday, while Liverpool were beaten 2-1 by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
