Bayer Leverkusen winger Nathan Tella has returned to full training following his injury layoff, NEWSUNPLUG reports.

Tella was sidelined for around one month due to the injury.

The Nigeria international is now in line to make his return for Die Werkself when they travel to Mainz after the international break.

The 26-year-old has made four league appearances for Bayer Leverkusen this season with one assist to his name.

Bayer Leverkusen will be banking on his return to help improve their performance domestically, and in Europe.

They currently occupy fifth position in the Bundesliga table with 11 points from six games.
