Forward Olakunle Olusegun is yet to be issued with an entry visa into South Africa and could miss the Super Eagles clash with Lesotho on Friday.
Olusegun is one of the 23 players invited for the game and the clash with Benin Republic by head coach, Eric Chelle.
Nigeria could prosecute the crucial encounter with 21 players.
Werder Bremen defender, Felix Agu has already pulled out of the game due to a hamstring injury, and Chelle has opted not to name a replacement.
Olusegun will head to Uyo for the game with Benin Republic if he is unable to secure entry visa to South Africa.
The Super Eagles will be up against Lesotho at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium, Polokwane, on Friday.
They will host Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, next week Tuesday.
