Bayern Munich and England forward Harry Kane has cleared the air about the possibility of him returning to Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Spurs player was speaking during one of the interviews he had while on duty with England during the international break. According to Harry Kane there is no possibility of him returning to Tottenham because he is enjoying his time at Bayern.
He said,
“I am not sure if I’ll go back to Spurs. I’m very happy here in Munich. It’s not something I’m thinking about. It’ll always be “we” (with Spurs) because I spent my whole life there. I’m a fan of them and will always watch them and see how they’re getting on. They will always be a part of my life for sure but as for now, I’m loving it here It was great to see them win a trophy this year. I’ve got a lot of friends there with the players and staff. Hopefully, they can push on and win more.”
Kane joined Tottenham’s academy as a youth player and made his senior debut in 2011. After a few loan spells, Kane broke into the first team during the 2014–15 season, quickly establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s most prolific strikers. Over the years, he became Spurs’ all-time top scorer, surpassing Jimmy Greaves’ long-standing record with 280+ goals across all competitions.
Kane won three Premier League Golden Boots and the 2020–21 Playmaker Award for most assists, highlighting his all-round attacking ability. He led Spurs to the 2019 UEFA Champions League final and several top-four league finishes, forming memorable partnerships with players like Son Heung-min.
However the lack of trophies won saw him leave Spurs for Bayern Munich during the 2023 summer transfer window.
