Nigerian activist and social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has once again targeted crypto entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejika, also known as Blord.
VDM accused Blord of operating a sophisticated online scam through his fintech company, Billpoint. Reports recall that Blord was arrested in 2024 over allegations of cryptocurrency fraud and funding terrorism. Although he was later released, public scrutiny of his brand has persisted.
In an Instagram video posted on October 16, 2025, VDM claimed that the Billpoint app, which advertises affordable airtime and data for users, is allegedly collecting sensitive personal information, including BVN, NIN, and phone numbers, which he says is being exploited for fraudulent activities and money laundering.
VDM further criticized numerous online celebrities who showcase wealth, suggesting that much of their affluence comes from dubious schemes rather than legitimate work. He remarked:
“You see why I speak to most of them however I like? I know what most of them do and how they maintain these appearances. It’s all showbiz. Don’t pressure yourself, most of them didn’t get here through hard work. You’d understand when you have access to information. This is why I always boast with integrity it frustrates them.”
This recent video intensifies the ongoing dispute between VDM and Blord, which originally began when the entrepreneur unveiled a modified iPhone 17 Pro in Nigeria.
