Nigerian singer Teni Apata recently had fans laughing uncontrollably after she shared a hilarious video of herself getting ready for an owanbe party.
In the clip, the talented artist who a few months ago visited a hospital to donate money and gifts to patients was dressed elegantly for the event. She wore an orange corset outfit with a matching gele (head tie), but things didn’t go as smoothly as planned.
Teni, speaking in her Ondo dialect, confessed that the corset made her extremely uncomfortable, joking that it was even hard for her to speak because her throat was hurting.
The “Billionaire” crooner humorously asked her fans to call an orthopaedic doctor, complaining that her spinal cord was suffering from the tight fit. She also noted that she couldn’t eat or drink because of the outfit.
Adding to the amusement, Teni admitted she was the one who instructed her tailor to make the corset, laughing at herself for “inviting trouble” with the fashion choice.
In another clip, she proudly displayed her full aso ebi look, pairing the corset with cream-colored cowboy boots.
Fans flooded the comments section with laughter, calling her a natural comedian. Many joked that “beauty is pain,” while others praised her for still looking stunning despite her struggles with the corset.
