Actress Jennifer Lawrence has finally revealed the gender of her second child — a baby boy — six months after giving birth.
The Hunger Games star welcomed her son, reportedly named Louie, in March with her husband, art gallery director Cooke Maroney, 41.
While promoting her new film, the 35-year-old actress spoke candidly about life as a mom of two and her struggle with postpartum anxiety after welcoming her second baby, Daily Mail reported.
“I had a worse postpartum with my second,” she told The New Yorker. “The first time, the only thing I was at war with was the rest of the world. I just thought every time he was sleeping, he was dead.”
Jennifer, who already shares a 2-year-old son named Cy, admitted that after her first birth, she constantly feared she was doing something wrong.
“I thought he cried because he didn’t like his life, or me, or his family. I thought I was doing everything wrong, and that I would ruin my children.”
She revealed she has been prescribed Zurzuvae, a new medication developed for postpartum anxiety.
The Oscar-winning actress also recalled an emotional moment when she asked ChatGPT a question about breastfeeding — and ended up crying after the AI chatbot replied kindly.
“It told me, ‘You’re doing the most amazing thing for your baby. You’re such a loving mother,’” she said. “But then I thought, if a robot can say that, maybe everyone else saying it doesn’t mean it either.”
Jennifer further opened up about her lifelong struggle with anxiety and how it continues to shape her decisions.
When asked if she’s ever had cosmetic work done, the actress said she only gets a little Botox, enough to still look natural on camera, adding with a laugh:
“No facelift yet — but believe me, I’m gonna!”
