Former Manchester United striker, Dimitar Berbatov has advised Benjamin Sesko to be angry with his team-mates at Old Trafford.
Sesko was Man United’s most expensive signing during the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old striker joined the Premier League club for £74million from RB Leipzig.
But the Slovenian international is yet to really impress under Man United manager Ruben Amorim.
Providing advice to Sesko, Berbatov said on the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast: “Be confident in yourself. Be arrogant in a way that you demand the ball from your teammates when you make a run.
“And when you make a good run, if the ball doesn’t come for you, say it or express it in a way that your teammates will understand that, ‘I am here. I’m making the run for you.
“Respect my run. Not every time, but try to see me and believe in what I can do with that run.
“That is why I’m here. Just give me the ball. Pass to me. I will try to score for you.
“Be angry with your team-mates. Not always polite and best friends and buddies.”
