Barcelona are reportedly eyeing a transfer move for Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
This was disclosed by Now Spor commentator Erbatur Ergenekon while speaking on Osimhen and Barcelona’s transfer agenda.
Barcelona are exploring alternatives to replace veteran striker Robert Lewandowski, whose contract extends until 2026.
However, according to Ergenekon, the likes of Osimhen and Haaland are being mentioned as potential targets for the number 9 position at Barcelona next year.
“Last season, if they had asked me to make a transfer to Barcelona, I would have said a centre-back,” Ergenekon said, as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.
“A similar process is ongoing. Now we can add a centre-forward to that list.
“The names of Osimhen and Haaland are being mentioned for the transfer of a number 9 in Barcelona.
“They will allocate a significant amount of money for the centre-forward position,” he said.
