Yoruba Actors Pray For Peju Ogunmola As She Returns To Work After Son’s Death

Yoruba Nollywood stars are sending love to their senior colleague, Peju Ogunmola, following her return to social media.

Newsunplug reported in September that Peju Ogunmola had lost her only child, Ayomikun.

In a statement released via the family’s spokesperson, Yemi Amodu, he set the record straight on the cause of Ayomikun’s death. He said contrary to the claim, Ayomikun died after a brief illness in Ibadan and has since been buried.

Minutes ago, via her Instagram page, Peju in an emotional video, described the past few months as heavy, but the love, prayers, and condolences from the public have carried her through the storm. She said she rises stronger, grateful, and ready to embrace her passion again, as she announced her return to the screen.

The likes of Ayo Olaiya, Bimpe Akintunde, Jayeola Monje, Bose Aregbesola, Aisha Lawal, Jide Awobona and others flooded her comment section with messages.
