Former Chelsea midfielder, Steve Sidwell, has said that Alejandro Garnacho has shown signs of becoming one of the greatest players in Europe.
The Argentine forward left Manchester United for Chelsea in the summer after falling out with Red Devils’ boss, Ruben Amorim.
Chelsea paid £40million for the player and the Argentina international has scored once in his first five Premier League appearances
The 21-year-old started on the bench for the midweek Champions League clash with Qarabag.
He came on to score the Blues’ equaliser to secure a point for the Blues in Azerbaijan.
“This is what Chelsea fans want to see from him, making an impact in the final third,” Sidwell told TNT Sports after Garnacho’s goal.
“He’s certainly got the quality.
“Chelsea fans are crying out to see the real Garnacho because he has got some talent. We’ve seen it there, and we need to see it more in a Chelsea shirt.
“When he’s in form, he’s one of the best in Europe, that’s for sure.”
