Former Manchester United assistant coach, Rene Meulensteen, has suggested Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo’s next possible club.
Meulensteen believes Ronaldo would move to the Major League Soccer, MLS, side Los Angeles to reignite his rivalry with Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi in the United States.
He spoke with Compare Bet about Ronaldo’s future, suggesting that the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star would be close to Hollywood.
“Can you imagine having [Lionel] Messi and [Cristiano] Ronaldo playing in the same team in Miami? It is a fantastic city,” Meulensteen said.
“On the contrary, it would be amazing to reignite the Messi-Ronaldo rivalry. Why not Los Angeles?
“I think Cristiano would probably move to Los Angeles because he would be so close to Hollywood. That is probably his next destination.”
