Delta North Senator Ned Nwoko has called for his wife, actress Regina Daniels, to undergo rehabilitation to address drug use and protect her overall well-being.
The senator emphasized that his main concern is for Daniels to remain healthy and alive, particularly for the sake of their two children.
Speaking to journalists on Sunday, Nwoko explained that the intervention is essential to ensure that the 25-year-old actress is in the right mental and physical state to care for their family.
He revealed that the decision comes after troubling toxicology reports showed elevated levels of harmful substances in Daniels’ system. Nwoko also noted changes in her behavior over recent months, describing her once calm demeanor as now marked by aggression, destructive actions, and repeated health complications.
“I want her to be alive and well, not just for me, but for the children. They are too young to defend themselves, so I have to step in to protect their mother. Many people have lost their lives to drug overdose, and if anything were to happen to her, what would I tell our children?” he asked.
